Sophia specialises in bridal makeup , but also loves prom and special occasion makeup. Through working with hundreds of brides it is clear that her love for her job shines through each make-up look she creates and she’s most passionate about enhancing your natural beauty so you feel amazing for your big day!
Alongside makeup, Sophia also offers eyelash extensions and eyebrow waxing / shaping with over 5 years experience in both .
In addition to being an experienced makeup artist, Sophia also offers solo and group makeup lessons. This can be a great way of learning different styles, techniques and methods to add to your everyday look
I first got into makeup after being a qualified caterer with the plan to open a wedding cake business . After making a few wedding cakes (and a lot of stress and tears) I decided it just wasn’t for me, but really loved the wedding industry. I retrained as a beauty therapist and makeup artist in 2013 and found that I absolutely LOVED bridal makeup and that’s where my passion began. I love all types of makeup, but bridal makeup definitely has a special place in my heart - I just get the best feeling out of making people feel the best version of themselves on one of the biggest days of their lives!
Outside of makeup, I enjoy cosy days watching a good film or Netflix series (I rinse them in a day usually) as well as spending time with family , gymming and eating.. and yes I’m aware my hobbies are all very contradictory! I'm a compete online shopaholic and love a huge ASOS order !
I would describe myself as a really easy going person and can honestly say that everyone leaves an appointment with me feeling more confident in themselves .
